Hardly a day goes by without news relating to Bible prophecy and especially the advancing trend towards a global religion for the cause of peace. It seems there are few who understand this is what the Bible predicts will happen on planet earth before the return of Jesus Christ to set up His Kingdom.
Of course, this is no surprise to those who take Bible prophecy seriously. As the apostle Paul wrote to the Thessalonians: “For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape (1 Thessalonians 5:3). Man’s plan for peace, inspired by Satan, will end in disaster, not in utopia.
While the Bible warns about the deception that will be characteristic of the Last Days through many prophetic statements, modern-day purpose-driven “Christianity” no longer pays attention to what God has said in His Word. Without question, the closer we get to the return of Jesus Christ, fewer and fewer who profess to believe in Christ believe what His Word says.
Many pastors, church leaders, and entire denominations have rejected Bible prophecy entirely. They have bought the lie that man can fix the problems we face man’s way. False teachers and false prophets, like those who propagated lies in Jeremiah’s day, are now proclaiming that the kingdom of God can be established here and now without the presence of the King – Jesus Christ.
Even those who have once seen that this current apostasy is clearly fulfilling Bible prophecy remain silent for fear they will be considered radical crackpots who take the Bible too seriously. Wolves in sheep’s clothing are leading the unsuspecting to their slaughter using church-growth methods, ignoring the Gospel, and promoting nothing more than feel-good experiences. Such is Satan’s clever plan to set up the counterfeit bride that masquerades as the true Church. The Bible foretold this would happen, and it is happening.
It has been some time since I have addressed ecumenical madness and the Pope’s plan to unite all religions for the cause of peace. With the complacency and hostility there is today towards Bible prophecy, it is easier to remain silent and let those who have chosen to be deceived continue in their way. However, this morning as I was reviewing the day’s news, I was confronted with a news item and a video that shook my inner core.
Jesuit Pope Francis, speaking at a meeting for inter-religious dialogue, explained his goal to unite all religions. http://www.catholicnewsagency.com/news/in-first-video-message-pope-francis-stresses-unity-we-are-all-children-of-god-39381/?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=email
The article and the video footage promoting the Pope’s view that all religions worship the same God made me angry. The Pope, who claims to be the Vicar of Christ, is supposed to be the head of the Roman Church and over one billion Catholics who are supposed to be following Jesus Christ. The video embedded in this article should jolt all Bible-believing Christians out of any slumber and shock them into reality. I challenge all of our readers to watch this video. Nothing more needs to be said.
After I watched the video, I asked myself a question: Is there someone on this planet who could speak to the Pope and explain to him that what he is planning to do is actually fulfilling Bible prophecy and preparing the way for the antichrist. A name came to mind. He is the most influential pastor in the world. His books have sold millions of copies. It is estimated that thousands and thousands of other pastors follow his every move.
More so, this pastor I was thinking about is well respected by Pope Francis. He has spoken at conferences in Rome and Philadelphia by invitation of the Pope. Of course I am referring to Rick Warren, often called America’s Pastor.
