Acts 17:24-25 "God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands. Nor is He worshiped with men’s hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things."
Paul proclaimed these words to the pagans on Mars Hill who were worshipping the creation in the city of Athens about 2000 years ago. This same truth is timeless and is exactly the statement needed to be given today to the human beings who have revived the same Babylonian practices and are headed towards the worship of the creation. While many so-called evangelicals do not believe this applies to them, those who are following after the emerging church lies promoted by postmodernism have fallen into the exact same trap and are on their way to hell.
Application: What Paul had to say to the pagans is the same message that needs to be repeated today to many who believe that all is God and God is one. This is the same lie fostered by doctrines of demons that existed in Paul’s day and continue today. The only saving message is the gospel of Jesus Christ which Paul continued to share at Mars Hill to these same pagans.
