God's Word For Today

Psalm 111:2-4

"The works of the LORD are great, studied by all who have pleasure in them. His work is honorable and glorious, and His righteousness endures forever. He has made His wonderful works to be remembered; the LORD is gracious and full of compassion."

Comment:

Truly the works of the Lord are great. He is the Creator of the universe who has made all things, but even greater His blood was shed for the sins of the world so that those who accept Him can spend eternity in heaven. He is the only One who ever walked this planet who never sinned. Although He is great He is full of grace and compassion.

Application:

Every day and in every way, we should take time to acknowledge the greatness of the LORD. The fact that we have a heart beat and our lungs take in air, we would not exist without Jesus Christ. Is it not reasonable to take some time each day and thank Him for who He is and what He has done?
