God's Word For Today

Deuteronomy 8:10-11

"When you have eaten and are full, then you shall bless the LORD your God for the good land which He has given you. Beware that you do not forget the LORD your God by not keeping His commandments, His judgments, and His statutes which I command you today."

Comment:

The law was given in the Old Testament to show the children of Israel that there was no way that they could please God based on their works. Jesus Christ died on the cross and His blood was shed as a sacrifice for our sins. All we have to do is to ask for forgiveness and repent. We cannot have fellowship with God in any other way.

Application:

How many �Christians� today are actually truly biblical Christians. Christianity has become an absolute sham as the postmodern ecumenical mindset has taken over those who still enter the doors of a church. Most churches, except for those who have perfected the business model, are imploding. There is only a remnant of believers that remains.
