God's Word For Today

Romans 5:1-2

"Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: by Whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God."

Comment:

Salvation is by faith in Jesus Christ alone. By grace have we been saved through faith in Him and not by works, lest anyone should boast. Thus we can have peace and rejoice knowing who Jesus is and what He has done.

Application:

There are many who profess to be followers of Jesus who do not understand what a true Christian must believe. Christianity is understanding who Jesus Christ is and what He has done. Ecumenicalism proclaims that all religions can unite in the name of Christ. According to the Bible this is Christian Babylonianisn, also known as the �harlot.�
