God's Word For Today |
|||||
Revelation 19:11-13 "Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God."
Comment:
John saw
Jesus
Christ
riding
on a
white
horse as
recorded
in the
book of
Revelation.
He is
the
righteous
one and
the only
righteous
one. He
is the
King of
Kings.
He wars
against
Satan.
He is
also
called
the Word
of God.
His word
is
sharper
than a
two-edged
sword.
His word
is the
truth.
Application: When most Christians think of Jesus, the King of Kings, they see him as a babe in the manger not a King on a horse. Jesus Christ is the ruler of the earth and he made the universe. We can know Him as our Savior and friend. He dwells within those who are born-again.
