If this article is true, then American political leaders are setting up a system to favor the Muslim religion by giving them the status of a special race. At the same time, this labels Jews and places them in further risk of being singled out and persecuted. According to the Bible there are no races. Mankind is made up of humans and all can be traced back to Adam and Eve. Where a person was born or what religion they believe in does not change their human nature. All are sinners and need a Savior according to the Bible. Political decisions that favor one nationality over another are always biased and throughout history have been the reason for world wars. Why the President of the United States would be interested in doing this at this stage of his second term indicates favoritism and discrimination.

The White House is putting forward a proposal to add a new racial category for people from the Middle East and North Africa under what would be the biggest realignment of federal racial definitions in decades. If approved, the new designation could appear on census forms in 2020 and could have far-reaching implications for racial identity, anti-discrimination laws and health research.
