European Union countries are drawing up a plan to boycott Israel going into effect exactly by the end of the Israeli elections, to force Israel to end its ongoing illegal settlement expansion which continues to hinder the resumption of bilateral Palestinian-Israeli peace talks.     According to Maarif Israeli daily, 28 EU countries  will open a new front against Israel through imposing sanctions, first and foremost through labeling Israeli settlements’ products, and taking legal measures against European companies operating within the ‘green line’; the pre-1967 occupied territories.
