A family in Mathis says it's a miracle after their statue of the Virgin Mary shed tears Saturday night. "My boyfriend was here and he heard like a baby crying." Cleofas Rodriguez has had the statue for more than 6 years. She said she bought it at the Walmart in Calallen.
"She's trying to heal something. She is trying to bring our family closer." Marcey Paiz said the family has been going through some tough times. Although this is unexplainable, the tears gives them a sight of relief.
"It's an amazing feeling once you see her, it's like all this kind of weight comes off your shoulder."
