February 16 - AI-Powered Body Cams Give Cops The Power To Google Everything They See
Article: Miscellaneous
Comment from UTT:
The world we now live in has no hidden locations. Artificial intelligence
along with police enforcement has linked everyone to everything. Such a
system has long been expected in light of the Bible. While once considered
to be science fiction by Bible skeptics, skepticism is now replaced by
reality that has been introduced by technology
The police body camera industry is the
latest to jump on the artificial
intelligence bandwagon, bringing new powers
and privacy concerns to a controversial
technology bolstered by the need to hold
police accountable after
numerous high-profile killings of unarmed
black citizens. Now, that tech is about to
get smarter.
Last week,
Taser, the stun gun company that
has recently become an industry leader in
body-mounted cameras, announced the creation
of its own in-house artificial intelligence
division. The new unit
will utilize the company's acquisition of
two AI-focused firms: Dextro, a New
York-based computer vision startup, and
Misfit, another computer vision company
previously owned by the watch manufacturer
Fossil. Taser says the newly formed division
will develop AI-powered tech
specifically aimed at law enforcement, using
automation and machine learning algorithms
to let cops search for people and objects in
video footage captured by on-body camera
systems.
Moreover, the move suggests that
body-worn cameras, which are already being
used by police departments in many major
cities, could soon become powerful
surveillance tools capable of identifying
different objects, events, and people
encountered by officers on the street - both
retroactively and in real time.

February 17 - Pope: 'Time Is Running Out, We Must Act'
Article: One World Government
Comment from UTT:
Pope Francis continues to take the position of the "man" that has the "plan"
to solve the global problems faced by the planet. While old and near the end
of his life, he may be the perfect example of a forerunner that will meet
these goals. For now, his recommendations provide insight and understanding
to what will be accomplished in the near future.
Time is running out to confront this
ecological crisis.
We must act. I appeal for Creation
to be defended.And
remember,
no people
are 'criminal,' nor religion, 'terrorists.'
But there are people out there who are
fundamentalists
Pope Francis made these points in his
message to the participants of a national
meeting of popular movements in Modesto,
California. The encounter, Feb. 16-18, was
organized with support from Vatican's new
dicastery for the Promotion of Integral
Human Development, led by Cardinal Peter
Turkson, the U.S. Catholic Campaign for
Human Development and the National Network
of People Improving Communities through
Organizing.
In his message,
he touched on various themes including the
harms of when there are economic abuses, not
taking care of the environment, welcoming
others as neighbors and not categorizing a
people just because of fundamentalism.

February 16 - Calls Israel 'biggest threat' to world peace
Article: Israel And The Last Days
Comment from UTT:
According to the Bible, Israel will be the center of world attention in
the last days. However, Israel will be hated by the world and blamed for
unrest, especially by countries like Iran. There is no question that
Iran has an agenda to develop weapons that would have the potential to
wipe out Israel. For years they have openly claimed this is exactly what
they want to do.
Iran
said Thursday that Israel's atomic arsenal
is the biggest danger to world peace, a day
after US President Donald Trump vowed to
prevent Iran from developing a nuclear
weapon.
Israel is the "biggest threat to
the peace and security in the region and
the world," Foreign
Ministry spokesman Bahram Ghasemi said,
quoted by state news agency IRNA.

February 17 - Pope: Unity in Diversity, where there is no dialogue there is violence
Article: One World Religion
Comment from UTT:
Pope Francis continues to take on and promote the role of peacemaker. Of
course this is a noble cause, but in light of the Bible will only be
accomplished to set up the kingdom of the antichrist. The Pope has
already indicated that he believes that all religions worship the same
God. From a biblical perspective this is nothing more than strong
delusion and the agenda of Satan.
The
fundamental importance of dialogue, the search for
"truth, goodness and beauty"; unity that needs
differences; integration and "respect" as a response
to the fear of the migrant, "but
each country has to see what number it can
accommodate. It's true: you cannot welcome
[migrants] if there are no possibilities[for them]":
These are the topics addressed by the Pope in a long
question and answer session, entirely off the cuff,
to the questions of four students of the University
of Roma Tre, where Francis went this morning.

February 28 - Priest: We need to praise what is good, true in the Muslim faith
Article: Ecumenical Movement
Comment from UTT:
While the Pope and the Roman Catholic Church continually attempt to show
the similarities between Islam and Christianity, this is not the
Christianity found in the Bible based on who Jesus is and what He has
done. Muslims do not believe that God has a Son therefore do not believe
in the Jesus of the Bible. Therefore, the God of Islam is another God
and Muslims need to be told the truth.
Not only is there a
good deal in common between Muslims and Christians, but
Catholics are called to respect and work together with those who
practice the Muslim faith in recognition of truth and goodness
they do possess, said Islam scholar Fr.
Thomas Michel.
