Update 2/10/10
I am writing to give an update about Roger Oakland. Each week he is improving and feeling better. He is still not strong enough to meet the demands of the ministry. He and Myrna really appreciate the prayers and concerns that you all have expressed. You are truly a gift from God.
The website is being updated and the ministries in the Philippines and Myanmar have been going on continually. We have people in these countries where the children and students have been taken care of.
I am doing better too. I went to see another specialist today and besides a few bumps in the road, I am feeling pretty good. I am just having trouble getting off some medication they gave me to keep my brain from swelling. We are just tapering off it slower. It is just a matter of time. My swallowing and talking is back to normal and they took out the feeding tube.
