Comment from UTT:
As far as we know going to heaven or hell has nothing to do with a vote up or down. Eternal life is not determined by a vote even if postmodern "Christians" say it is. The inspired Word of God is where the rubber hits the road and the gospel of Jesus Christ according to the scriptures never changes.
If there is no such place as hell, was Jesus mistaken because He talked so much about hell? Maybe many will end up there and a few will not. Of course this would mean those who "professed" to be "Christians." No one will stay out of hell based on a vote up or down, will they?
Hell is not a good place to visit because once you get there, there is no door out
