Read one
of my
latest
articles
discussing
the
Manhattan
Declaration,
Chuck
Colson, and how it is being used by Rome to
pull
evangelicals
into the
ecumenical
movement.
This
article
reveals
information
I found
out
doing
research
for that
blog
entry.
Many in
Calvary
Chapel
really
cannot
conceive
of the
ecumenical
going-ons
out
there,
between
leaders
within
their
denomination
and even
within
other
evangelical
groups.
As I
explained
in the
Manhattan
Declaration
blog
entry,
Chuck
Colson
is a
main
figure,
that has
worked
steadily
to bring
evangelicals
into
unity
with the
Catholic
church.
It's
happening
in many
denominations
and as
you will
see
here,
Calvary
Chapel
has not
remained
immune.
Some
can
say..
"Not
Calvary
Chapel,
they
warn
about
the
Catholic
church
and the
Emergents!"
[yes
they do
from
time to
time in
Bible
conferences
and
elsewhere]
but what
does
this
really
mean if
pastors
and
others
are
meeting
at
ecumenical
gatherings?
Do not
let
those
fool you
who
admit
some
errors
of Rome,
but then
join
together
with
it's top
leaders.
If there
are any
pastors
in
Calvary
Chapel
against
this
stuff,
have
they
spoken
out? I
would
like to
see.

Church
(also a
Centurion),
Pastor
Don
Kimbro
of New
Mexico
Christian
Churches."
I went
to go
check to
see if
Robert
Hall is
a pastor
in
Calvary
Chapel:
he
is.
I found
this
OTHER
article,
entitled
"Catholics
and
Evangelicals
Unite".
This
article
admits
that
a
Calvary
Chapel
church
with
others
helped
to
sponsor
this
event.
[it is
the
church
where
Richard
Hall is
pastor
of]
The
author
who was
supportive
of this
Manhattan
Declaration
meeting
writes:
"I was
also
thankful
for all
the
sponsors:
The
Archdiocese
of Santa
Fe,
New
Mexico
Assemblies
of God,
The
Baptist
Convention,
Calvary
Chapel
Rio
Rancho,
the
North
American
Mainline
Chinese
Mission,
New
Mexico
Christian
Churches,
the
Traditional
Values
Action
Committee,
and
various
other
individual
churches.
Thus my
question
of the
title,
Why Did
a
Calvary
Chapel
Pastor
Meet
with a
Catholic
Archbishop?"
Nothing
excuses
being
equally
unyoked
with a
false
religion.
Doesn't
this man
have any
ex-Catholics
who
renounced
that
false
gospel
within
his own
church?
Anyhow
the
evangelicals
seem to
have
been
almost
fully
drawn
into the
harlot.
For
Christians
who
understand
why and
how this
is
happening
biblically,
the
overwhelming
feeling
is of
sadness
for
those
being so
deceived.
